Float The Beautiful Grande Ronde River, Fishing For Smallmouth Bass & Rainbow Trout!

Floating The Grande Ronde River on a warm summer day is a fantastic way to beat the summer heat. After fishing each spot to it's potential, we routinely swim and play in the beautifully cool, clear water.

We will wade fish in sandels and shorts, enjoying the cool water and shady canyons.A shore lunch at midday will bring you back to the happy place we all dream about.

Whichever your preference, the smallmouth bass like flies, and lures alike. We use 9 ft 5 wt fly rods and 6 ft light action spinning rods to battle these bruisers of the canyon. The wildlife are drawn to the waters edge during the summer, so bring your camera. Very limited spots during the months of June, July, and Aug this summer.

The day starts with breakfast at Boggans Oasis at 7 am. We depart on the river about 8 am or so and spend the next 8-10 hours in a very scenic and remote roadless canyon stretch over 8 miles long. We will drive out and return you to your vehicle. Cost is $375 per two fisherman. Spend an extra night at Boggan's and spend the next day road fishing the upstream stretch for another 10 plus river road miles."The fishing is awesome, the scenery is awesome, the weather is awesome.
